Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
1. Introduction
ResolvCmd ("we", "us", "our") operates the resolvcmd.com website and the ResolvCmd application at my.resolvcmd.com. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.
Usage data
We collect information about how you use ResolvCmd, including resolution queries, feature usage, and performance metrics. This data is used to improve our service and is never shared with other customers.
Knowledge source data
When you connect knowledge sources (Google Drive, Hudu, Confluence, or upload documents), we process and index this content to provide resolutions. This data is stored in fully isolated infrastructure and is never accessible to other customers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve ResolvCmd
- Process resolutions from your connected knowledge sources
- Send account-related communications
- Monitor and prevent security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Your Data, Only Yours
Your documents, your knowledge, your data: it belongs to you, period. We will never sell, share, or monetize your data. Every customer's data is completely walled off from every other customer, by design, not just by policy. No other customer can ever access your information.
5. Google User Data
When you connect a Google Drive knowledge source, ResolvCmd requests read-only
access to Drive files and metadata using the drive.readonly OAuth
scope. This access is used solely to index the documentation you select so that
ResolvCmd can surface relevant passages when answering resolution queries.
ResolvCmd's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google user data is used only to provide and improve the ResolvCmd resolution service for the customer who authorized the connection.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with user notice.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have the user's affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes, it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for service operation purposes.
- We do not sell Google user data.
Content indexed from Google Drive is stored in encrypted, per-customer isolated infrastructure and is deleted when you disconnect the Drive source or delete your account, following the retention schedule in the next section.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You are in control of your data. We retain it only for as long as your account is active, and you can delete it at any time. When you delete your account, we initiate a 30-day soft deletion period followed by permanent removal from all systems, including backups and search indexes. Once deleted, it's gone.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption at rest (full disk encryption), encrypted credential storage for integrations, and comprehensive audit logging of all access events.
8. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for payment processing and email delivery. These services have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy policies.
For analytics on our public website, we run a self-hosted Plausible instance at
s.resolvcmd.com. Plausible is privacy-first: it sets no cookies,
collects no personal data, and does not track users across sites. All data stays
on infrastructure we operate. Analytics are not run on authenticated paid surfaces.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can export your data or request complete deletion by contacting us.
